Lecture 9 finished

The boundaries between reality and fiction have been lost, and all have become participants in one integrated event.

“Wave Chant! Toufekia Omnipotens!”
“The Wave chant makes a rip in space, converts the energy to heat, and blasts it out.”
The wave Chanting in the world of Selesia seems to be able to describe science and magic in a single concept.

Students’ Comments

I thought that the works of Selesia and Kanoya-kun were both covered by a genre of robot anime.
When it comes to Hikayu-chan, it’s interesting that the secondary work characters are more full of common-sense.

I think that creating something not for others but so as that you can be satisfied with, is the starting point of creation. It is very important to express what you want to do like in a creative way.
By thinking about the languages of various countries from multiple perspectives, I learned the importance of knowing the nuances of words intuitively.

In this work, the multi-layered specifics of the real world have often been mentioned. Because they come from an exaggerated, or conformed world of fiction, they are impressed by the reality full of diverse information.
However, I think that we, who look at the fictional world from the side of reality, can get a multi-layered sense that is not depicted in the fictional world.
In this work, I think that this part is expressed in contrast to the creator’s production process (such as when changing the setting of Selesia). I felt that this effect of complementing parts that go beyond the original author’s intention is depicted as the driving force behind the creation of fictional works and derivative works.
