Study of Re:CREATORS 67: Lecture 10 continued

Lecture 10 continued

“You’re right! Suruga! Suruga, what do you think? What?”
Marine asks Suruga for her consent, but Suruga is nowhere to be seen.
Meteora is chanting a spell.
“Gates of prison. The truth behind my key has been revealed here. Close oneself!”
Meteora has sealed the bird cage.
“Check that all equipment is operational. Replace anything that’s not working at once.”
“Measurement device, map link normal. Everything is normal over here too.”
“Target lost on satellite and radar. Target is not within the coordinates.”
“The Birdcage is complete.”

Magane appears in front of Sota.
“I can’t see the screen. Don’t get so excited, Sota. So this is what you’ve been up to”
Magane is eating something. “Do you want some?”

Do you have any other character associated with this?
Kyoko Sakura in Puella Maga Madoka was eating something every time she appeared. It was not Sayaka Miki, I mentioned the wrong one in the class. I correct.

Please have a look on the article below.

Selesia and Altair commence battle.
Tank corps bombard on Altair.
Altair is unfazed. She is prepared for everything.
“Just as I thought. It’s a barrier. A fictional city isolated from reality. Right, Meteora?”
The idea of “barrier” is shared by several fictional works. Though it is not strictly defined, similar situations are introduced in various designations. In Fate/stay night, it is also called “barrier”. In The Melancholia of Haruhi Suzumiya, “closed space” is described. In Physics they discuss something that has similar specifics by the term “coordination space”. With the loose definition more acceptance will be acquired.
“You have been trying to stop me from warping this world, and releasing the yoke that bind it. However, now you have abandoned that strategy. Fools. Did you think I was underestimating you? You, the characters who were charged with the most important missions in each of your stories. The reason you have embarked on a large-scale attack must be because you have succeeded in pinning down my sphere of influence.”

“Breaking the gun is a difficult task even for me.”
Terminologies belonging to different dimensions are used in a single fictional world.
This was the specific technic exploited in Kenji Miyazawa’s poetry making.

“The weapon is a replica you created. No one is inside. Right? It’s a power of The Book of a Thousand Truths… So, what are you going to do next? At least you’ve been successful in buying time.”
In this case, Japanese phrase is literary translated “to buy time”. It is rather rare this works well.
“Now we don’t have to worry about anything. We can boil her, burn her, do whatever we want. Isn’t that what you’re thinking? You have made a big mistake, oh wise Meteora.”

Selesia attacks. “Wave Chant! Pierce the enemy with hail. Astrius Becade!”
Altair easily bounce it off.
“Maximum power is still not enough. Physical attack spells don’t work on her.”
“You. I thought you did everything you could to stop me from achieving my dream. Is this all you could do? It cannot be. This can’t be it. There’s no way that this is all you could do. Try once more. Perhaps I have been doing things wrong.”
