Existence in Parallel Universes

The main character, Takeru Shirogane, who was warped to the parallel world in Muv-Luv Unlimited for the first time, was mentally immature and had scarce intelligence and had only low level of physical strength. He had managed to increase his experience depending on the help of his fellow trainees who assisted him. In Muv-Luv Alternative, Takeru warps into yet another parallel universe and starts over with most of his memories of previous experience, together with the acquired physical strength.
As is often the case in role-playing games, when a party is wiped out, the replaying party retains the strength of the previous achievement. However, in this game, this severe awareness presses heavy on Takeru and even restricts his range of actions. Furthermore, it cannot be concluded that all the decisions that Takeru made as one who has grown up and earned the respect of his fellow trainees, gained out of a serious sense of mission to save the world are necessarily correct ones. This is because, for example, as can be seen in Ayamine’s casual harsh behavior, each of the trainees actually carries a deep background and restraint that can be the basis for questioning Takeru’s judgment. This game by no means allows confirmation of the easy right answer or easily promised justice. The player will have to deal with the heavy problems that the game presents, which will be unavoidably painful. Please be prepared for the harshness it imposes.
